You should totally not be intimidated by the cables.  I had never done them before and looked at pattern and saw all this C6f and C6b and thought how am I ever gonna be able to do this?!  But I watched the knittinghelp.com video and cables are really so easy!  And this was a great first cable project!

Thanks for the vote of support...others have said the same about cables...that they look hard but are actually very easy. I gotta venture into Cable-World one day soon! :-)

haha The shrug is kind of a funny story...It was done on a whim, so I really don't have a specific pattern.
Thanks!  I've booked marked it for a future project.

It's the amazingly wonderful Jiffy Tube Top in a Jiff--http://woolywooskie.blogspot.com/2005/01/jiffy-tube-top-in-jiff-updated.html

Mine is a bit different because it's on size 10 1/2 needles, so the cables look bigger and there are less cable repeats.
