I did a lot of patchy sewing to put me through massage school.. and fund tours with that phish band..  I still make a lot of it.. but I don't have as many places to wear it.  I did get to rock my patchies at bonnaroo...

I love doing all sorts of applique work.. I do a great Jerry and Trey..   I really think appliques add so much to a piece..

This is actually the first hoodie I ever made.. full cord patchwork, fleece lined with a Jerry applique

This is a apron dress/ skirt with seminole patchwork and an Ohm applique

This applique is inspired by the artwork of Keith Harring, with rail patchwork on the sides of the dress

These pants have Trey on the front, and YEM on the back pocket, with seminole patchwork down the sides

This is one of my favorite pieces that I have ever done.  It's rainbow patchwork, with appliques of flowers and butterflies on the back..

I also LOVE using quiltblocks as the insperation for a piece.  This dress has 6 quiltblocks that makes the base of the skirt.

These pants are applique free because the seminole patchwork down the sides are one inch by one inch pieces, and it just seemed to much visually to add applique work.  The pockets on the back are just the seminole patchwork rather than appliqued..

So that's some of my stuff.. I'm working on some wrap around skirts now.. and a t-shirt quilt is in the works...

what's etsy?  I used to sell a lot on ebay.. but I've had so many clients recently I just haven't had time..

The blue and white seminole patchwork outfit (with the Ohm applique) I still have and plan to sell at some point.. I also have a few more backless dresses as well as a few long sleeve dresses just sitting around waiting for me to do something with them..  Undecided  I've just been so busy I haven't had time to list them..

Is etsy a good place for that?
I really haven't ever been there and don't know what it's about..  do you have to pay for it?   any info is appreciated.

Thanks for all your awesome feedback.. you are motivating me to put down my scrapbooking and get back on my sewing machine Smiley

I'm working on a t-shirt quilt now...

Thanks for all your awesome comments.. I figure I'd post a few more shots Smiley

This is the back of the Ohm apron outfit..  I love how it's different from the back..

and you can wear just the skirt as well.. without the apron part..  you can see the seminole patchy pocket that is usually hidden under the apron

I've done a bunch of Jerry hoodies.. they are definitly the most popular..

These are my brother's favorite pants that I made him.. they have a silver lightening bolt applique on the back pocket..

This is my most recent dress.. a pretty zodiac celestial backless dress.. it's cool because the skirt has two pleats intoward the front, so it has a nice spin, but it's not bunchy Smiley  The sides are a couple of star fabrics patched together..  I love how it turned out.

Thanks for letting me share..  I haven't had a place to get feedback on my stuff.. and it's nice to let other people see what i've been working on Smiley
