I really hope we can keep like with like just so I can get the sizing correct.  Since it doesn't look like this round is going to specialize any time soon, there will probably be enough of both dolls to have specialty swaps in the future.  Oooh, maybe even for the BJD people.

Same here - I only have Blythes, so wouldn't know about fitting Pullips.

Yes, of course I am going to match partners with the same dolls as best as I can.

Groshveux don't fret I'm finishing your package tonight. I joined this swap and even though I don't have any pullips there are plenty of patterns out there that specify for both sizes so I wouldn't have an issue making things for either type of dolls.

Awesome.  I only have Blythes too and would only feel comfortable sewing for them.  I guess you could always do a ring if there were an uneven number of people.  Yay!!  I can't wait to start!

I signed up.. it's my first swap! So what sort of things are we thinking about making?

I've got a huuuuuuuge list of stuff I wanted to experiment with making. I'm trying three or four different ways to do the shaping on a knitted hoodie for Blythe atm, as well as how to do invisible seams on a kangeroo pocket on the front. I find the challenge imposed by such a tiny scale and the small number of stitches used really fires up my imagination Smiley

I was also contemplating a different shape and style of sofa to the one I made before. They take about 2 days to make, but they're exact replicas of Habitat or IKEA sofas with removable covers, and I love the challenge of making them.

So what ideas are you looking forward to playing with?

Hmm, good question Cherade9!  I am thinking of sewing more complex dresses this time around.  I have been meaning to work on sleeves and this might be the perfect opportunity to do just that.

One things for sure I'm going to start shopping for fabrics.  I do that anyhow, but now that I'm in a swap I have an official reason to do it.    Heehee.

I think it usually depends upon your swap partner and their questionnaire.  Grin

GatorWrangler, I think it's a great idea you made the "Send 3 items. At least 2 must be crafted." rule Smiley
