Post all of your awesome goodies from the NEWBIES ONLY Round 5!

***I will NOT give feedback until you have both SENT to your partner, RECEIVED from your patner and have POSTED PICTURES of your goodies!!

Here's where we'll keep track of who has sent and who received:
If your name is in green, you have sent.
If your partners name is in blue, your partner has received.
If your name is red, you have notified me that you will be sending late.
If your name is struck through, you have received feedback.
If your name is glowing, you must contact me immediately!

This is how I plan to give feedback:
If you send on time and follow the guidelines set, I will give you a "Great Swapper!"
If you send late (with a valid reason) but communicate, I will give you "Sent late but communicated"
If you send late but don't communicate and the package actually arrives at it's destination, I will give you "Sent late and didn't communicate"
If you flake (and I don't expect any flakers) you will be given "Negative"

I reserve the right to add in the following:
Did not follow newbie swap crafting rules
Was absent from the thread;lacked mandatory communication
Did not follow DC# requirements
Did not post pictures in the gallery
AND/OR
Excellent swapper!
Followed ALL rules!
Had excellet communication!

FEEDBACK from your organizer is very important!!! It stays there FOREVER!  It will determine, in some cases, if you are allowed to participate in a swap. If an organizer sees any kind of feedback that sounds like you flaked in any aspect of a swap you may be rejected!!!

I checked the tracking number, but they only update once a day... all it says so far is that I mailed a package. But at least I know the tracking number works!

The DC # isnt a tracking number it is a DELIVERY CONFIRMATION number, it will only show ACCEPTANCE (meaning it was accepted at a post office ) and DELIVERED (when it gets to its destination). You won't actually see anything in between that.

I think Canada Post works different than USPS. I got a *tracking* number, which tells you more than just delivery. In the past when I have sent things the same way, the Canada Post website updates when the item is entered into the sortation plant, when it goes out for delivery, and when it is actually successfully delivered. I just looked up a package I sent about six months ago with the tracking number, and you can still see the information it gives: http://tinyurl.com/2zp4k5

oh yeah, canada post has that capability. I know that you can get an actual tracking number with UPS and FEDEX.

That's pretty cool that you can see your little package's journey from point A to point B!!! Smiley

I know, I only wish it was as good as UPS! Yes, I hate the stupid broker fees I always end up paying when I order stuff and its sent UPS, but I love their "QuantumView" tracking where they update it constantly!

Anyway, with the ridiculous price Canada Post charges, they'd BETTER be doing some special tracking to earn that money Smiley. It cost ten bucks to send and the package only weighs half a pound!
