First time making donuts!  Adding the sprinkles got messy!  Especially when my 3 year old wanted to eat them! hahaha -

Oh, I want to make donuts.  I've never tried polymer clay though.
Did you use real sprinkles?

no not real one! altho that's an excuse to buy them eh?  haha
used tiny glass beads no holes from Michael's (i found them in the rubber stamp section, 2 jars per pack).

After baking, most of the sprinklies fell off so I think I probably should have brushed a bit of TLS on prior to baking..

Re: the glass beads

I wouldn't advise using TLS over the top or varnishing either. the colorful coating seems to come off pretty easily, as I unfortunately learned. I would put a little tls over the top of the donut, then add the sprinkles. that should help them stay put better.

Thanks!  That's what I meant, to put TLS on the donut prior to putting the beads on them... i did glaze it after baking and it looks fine... i think.
