Doesnt this look like the perfect dessert to bring to the 4th of July cookout?

Jeeves! Fetch me the ingredients list!:

angelfood cake
vanilla or banana pudding (largest size)
cool whip (not whipped cream)
your fav. fruits
*I used sugar free everything and the fruits I used were strawberries, bananas, blueberries, peaches, and mandrin oranges. Pears, rasberries, blackberries, pineapple, and mango would also be good. If you wanted a less expensive route, use a can of mixed fruit but fresh fruit is better.

In your prettiest parfait dish crumble up half of the angle food cake, pour in half of the pudding (make sure it has set if its instant and cooled if its the cook and serve kind). Its going to give it a layered look:

Sprinkle on a generous ammount of fruit. The more the better!

Once youve filled the dish to an inch of the brim, top off with the cool whip. It takes pretty much the whole container. Decorate the top with some of the fruit that didnt make it into the parfait. Serve chilled with your closest friends and family, or bring it to a lonely neighbor to spread the yummy cheer.

It is drool worthy. And if you use sugar free/light ingredients its so good for you, a second hearty helping isnt so guilty feeling!

Just goes to show that making something look so yummy is half the battle of making healthier foods! What a lovely dessert!  I would be proud to bring that to any event (and not even tell anyone it is good for them!) ha ha
