Wow! Very good. Clever idea using the fur inside out too. Most people don't think of that. (Some will now that you have shared). Those little pointy claws must have been hard.
So, did you engineer the patterns too?

I like the Yetti best.

yeah its my own design.  the claws took a long time, i used to make pointy teeth that way- sew it inside out then its a pain in the but to try to fish it out- thats why i didnt do more spines on the dragons back

Impressive.
I admire your skill in designing patterns for 3D objects. Just sewing them is a struggle for me.

I am head over heels in love with the yeti, seriously. His face looks like a great aunt just gave him a kiss and pinched his cheeks.

Woah. That dragon is giving me flashbacks to a movie I saw years ago... He reminds me a lot of Falkor the luck dragon. But maybe I'm just nuts.

Anyone else see this or have any clue what I'm talking about?

(Sorry I got distracted, I completely adore them both. I especially love the yeti's button eyes)

yeah the dragon is about 3 1/2- 4 feet long including the tail.  The design is pretty simple, just 2 pieces for the sillouette and one piece for the underbelly/ inside of the arms and legs.
the yetti is just 2 pieces- front and back, with a hole cut out and the head sewn in.
I thought about the neverending story connection while i was sewing- maybe thats why the idea for a dragon came up when i saw the white fur...

YES!  That's why I clicked on the thumbnail!  I totally thought someone made Falkor!  It's awesome regardless... but Neverending Story was my first impression Cheesy

I'm glad the Falkor thing wasn't all in my head. It's not often something brings back Neverending Story flashbacks  Huh

Now I'm inspired to make my own Falkor. And maybe watch that movie again. Or not.

Those are both amazing!  What great construction, and I am sure you baby will absolutely love them.  Or, drool on them and pull their ears, which pretty much translates to the same thing Cheesy

They are both gorgeous! Amazing that, with similar materials, they are so different. The dragon is impressive and the yeti is grumpily cute.

Love the dragon. My daughter has a book with different types of dragons, there is one called a frost dragon which reminds me of the one you have made.

Yeah, the dragon does look like a cross between the Never Ending Story dragon and a Japanese dragon.
