My tiara representing my love for all things Alice in Wonderland, Through the Looking-Glass, etc.

First off, I'm sorry that the pictures don't show it off very well. If someone needs a picture of something in particular, don't hesitate to ask. Smiley

Also, I'm a guy and the tiara doesn't flatter me so I made my sister model it. haha  Cheesy

Anyways, here goes.

The full crown in all its glory, obviously not in action but rather hanging out on a giant paintcan. lol Observe the the obvious use of reds and pinks, some greens, lace to reflect the proper english culture Alice lived among, and lots of hearts.

The bigger picture because it shrunk: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v506/theperfect1/full.jpg

Close up of the tiny (exactly 1") Alice sitting on a rock, surrounded by blades of grass with a crown atop her head. the picture is from Alice Through the Looking-Glass but all together with the rock and the grass references Adventures in Wonderland when she shrinks.

Close up of the front where you can see the infamous smile of the Cheshire Cat. (those bubbles aren't a face btw, they were in the marble already. Of course little cards too. The bottom is lined with furry white yarn, representing the White Rabbit.

My sister modeling it:

"OFF WITH YOUR HEAD!"

You can also see the dyed tulle on the sides of the tiara. I got the idea after remembering the odd birds that were on the beach surrounding the Dodo.

yup. Hope everyone likes it!  Grin

(My first competition too. lol)

i love love love alice too! i am also glad you used the original alice it's way cooler. I like how diffrent parts of the crown represents a character instead of just having pics of all the diff characters, very crafty!

I really like this! I, too, adore all things Alice in Wonderland, etc. and have devoted many a craft project to the theme, but this tiara is totally rockin'!!

Really great work!

hehe. I'm glad you like it! I thought that printing out each character wouldn't have been creative enough. Plus, I love every character too much to choose between them. lol. Alice would always be on top though.  Cheesy

thanks so much! I've done the same, devoting many craft projects towards Alice. I've even done at least 3 school projects on Alice as well. haha
