Ok, so.  This is the first time I've ever done anything on an actual canvas.  The first one is a Kurt Halsey stencil that I got from stencilry.  I nixed the original words that went with it because the girl seemed really sad to me, so I picked something different.  Also, both of these are for my sister and she likes that kind of thing.  So, here's the kurt halsey one.

And this one is because True Romance is one of my sister's all-time favorite movies (mine too!).  I just googled to get the image and did some business in photoshop to stencilize it (totally not a word, but eh).  Then I cut out the foreground and glued it to the canvas.  I used a sharpie to color in all the black after I painted the foreground lavender.  Then I very lightly brushed on the turquoise color.  The words were freehanded.  It's one of my favorite lines from the movie.  There were quite a lot of steps involved, but I'm really happy with how this one turned out.

I love True Romance!

True story:  When I first saw the film, and he asked her to go for pie with him after the movies, I thought he meant pizza. Because back home, we call pizza 'pie'.

Anyway, awesome paintings!

You so need to rent it.  It's one of the best movies ever!  Seriously.  It's got Christian Slater, Patricia Arquette, Brad Pitt (who plays a burnout that smokes out of a honey bear bong-haha!), Dennis Hopper, Christopher Walken, Michael Rappaport, Gary Oldman, the list goes on.  There's drugs and guns and beatings and some really intense stuff, but it is a romantic movie in the truest sense of the word.  I pimp this movie out to people as much as I can because it's just that awesome.

Haha!  When I first saw the movie, I thought that asking her to get some pie was some kind of euphemism for doing it!

I like the first one!
