Hi,

I'm looking for an Icelandic Knitting pattern with horses. I found this hand knit sweater online, but don't know where to find the pattern.  Has anyone seen this pattern before or know where I could get it?

Thanks for your help!

I'd start by looking at Lopi patterns.  Lopi is an Icelandic wool that still has lanolin in it.  After knitting with that for while, your hands are going to be as soft as a babys---.

http://www.allegroyarns.com/dale/dale1011.html is something similarish (rocking horses, different sweater construction, but maybe adaptable)
http://www.yellow-turtle.com/store/?action=viewproduct&ProductID=10912803147015621 another horse design

I just googled 'horse fair isle' there were lots of other hits.  Good luck.
