If I have the patience and ability to crochet, everyone can. I made bunches of mistakes, but I finally got the hang of it. It just takes practice.

Ok, I'm completely new to crocheting, so when the pattern says
"Row 2: 2 sc into each sc around (12 sc)"
does that mean that once you do a single crochet stitch, you do another one in the same stitch that you just did one in and them move onto the next one and do the same thing?
And for the decreases, you just skip over a stitch when called for?
