My name's Wendy & I live in Australia.

This is my 1st claim. None sent and none received.

I wish for:

CRAFT SUPPLIES

DYES
- Kool aid (especially greens, blues and tamarindo) but any colour is great ( we can't get it here in Australia!)
- Wilton cake/icing dyes (ditto)
- Easter egg dyes

YARN
- Undyed wool yarn that I can experiment with dyeing
- silk yarn
- ribbon type yarn

FIBRE/FIBER
- Silk fibre in any form e.g. sliver/roving/hankies/caps/throwster's waste/rods/degummed cocoons
- angelina/firestar/nylon fibres (PM me for colours)

SCRAPBOOKING/CARDMAKING
Any K & Company scrapbooking supplies in the following ranges
- McKenna
- Hannah
- Juliana
- Poppies
- Ashford
- Peabody
- Verbena
- Amy Butler

- Fiskar's shape templates (PM me for shapes)
- Jolee's stickers/embellishments in girly designs such as flowers, hearts, butterflies etc.

OTHER SUPPLIES
- Sterling silver findings for pierced earrings (I'm allergic to nickel)
- Skeleton leaves no bigger than 1" ( I use them in felting)
- Japanese felting books/magazines
- Clover felting needle refills
- I love pens with purple or burgundy ink (we don't have much of a colour range in Australia)

CRAFTED ITEMS

KNITTED SOCKS
- It's winter here in Australia and I would love a pair of pure wool hand knitted socks in any of the berry shades. I'm not really into stripes but a variegated yarn would be nice.

KNITTED COTTON WASHCLOTHS
(no black or fluorescent colours please)

ABOUT ME
I love wet felting and needle felting, and am just starting to dye and card my own fibre. I like to make hand made cards and I've also just started scrapbooking - haven't made any pages yet but am having fun collecting supplies.

My favourite colours are berry shades, purples, dark redsm, muted pinks and greens. I don't really care for black,  yellow, orange, navy, peach or mint green.

I like things which are pretty but not cutesy and elegant but not boring. I'm not a huge fan of spots, stripes and plaids but I generally like paisley and floral patterns.

I love rich fabrics such as velvet, silk, damask, as well as vintage floral fabrics. I prefer generally natural fabrics to synthetics.

My favourite things from nature are flowers. I love roses and I also like cherry blossom, wisteria, lilacs and lily of the valley. I don't like plastic, PVC, disney, or cartoons.

I'm trying to eat a more healthy diet so no candy please!

Thanks so much to anyone who chooses me.  Kiss

I claim Velvet Rose for some dye supply goodness  Smiley

This is my first claim. None in transit, none received.

Here's my list (categorized because I like making groups. *Cough* nerd *Cough*)

Jewelry: Never can have enough!

~ Crocheted wire & bead jewelry (like this
http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=27541.msg229505#msg229505
~ Dangly earrings. I love the cluster kind.
~ Pendant necklaces (I love microscope slide, wire wrapped and resin
kinds, but all funky and interesting pendants always rock my world).

Sewn:

~ I would love a hipbelt (like this:
http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=47995.0) Too cute! I
have a medium sized waist... I think.
~ Wrist cuffs
~ Wallet/ checkbook holder
~ an eye mask for sleeping
~ Skirts-- I love basic A-line skirts and wrap styles. I can PM you my  measurements.
~ A comfy but cute and sexy nightie. I don't like silky or satiny fabrics (especially in the summer) but a nice cotton or something would be great.

Supplies/Kits:

~ Jewelry making supplies-- I've just gotten into jewelry making and it is ridiculously addicting. I have a nickel allergy, so the findings must be sterling silver, please.
~ Big beads/gems/stones
~ Jewelry thread
~ Wire wrapping kit or beginning information
~ Cool rubber stamps... I have ones like a martini glass and some celtic knots.
~ Vintagey/funky ephemera
~ a clock-making kit (or just some supplies, or instructions, or whatever).
~ Fixin's for making a lamp out of random objects

Random:
~ Hair stuff—I've got hair that's past my shoulders and it's super
thick, so it has to be heavy duty 
~ Yummy smelling candles (all of mine are tealights and tiny!) I don't
like overly flowery smelling things, but I like clean scents,
dark/musky scents, fruity things.
~ Homemade bath or body products, perfumes, etc.
~ A surprise—if you have a specialty, I'd love to be blessed with it 
~ Cube decorations: I'm a corporate wage slave, and I'm always looking for things to decorate my cube with (based on any of my likes).

About me: I'm 21 years old, live in the big city of Chicago. I love
the following color combos: turquoise/red/white, brown/pink, olive
green/red. I also love the color green and like most colors except
bright yellows and oranges. I was an English major and love reading and
books and nerdy themed stuff. Any of these kind of themes would be
greatly dug by yours truly: mermaids, pin up girls, feminist imagery,
polka dots, edward gorey, cherries, celtic stuff, the 50's, glam rock, sylvia
plath, etc. I can't sew and I'm totally jealous of people who can.

Oh, and THANK YOU in advance to anyone that picks from my list! I love
craftsters!

And right now I'm just studying my butt off for my exams that are coming up and missing my family and my boyfriend all the way back home. Hmm... I think that's about all for now. I like pretty much all colours of the rainbow (especially aubergine) and I'm pretty into kitsch and unique jewellery right now (which I make) Cheesy

Wish List

This is my first claim this round, and I'm in wisconsin

wish list!

if i had one wish, it would be for this skirt - anyone think they can find a pattern and make one?  it doesn't need to be so long... mid-calf would be perfect
http://www.shukronline.com/wt3601.html <-- receivbed 1 skirt from Muria, I'm loving it, would love another one

If anyone loves to sew, I love this skirt!  would love a soft drapey sort of fabric
http://www.garnethill.com/jump.jsp?itemID=12386&itemType=PRODUCT&path=1%2C2%2C4477%2C9140%2C9143&iProductID=12386

I love this corset top - can even send the fabric for it!
http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=127920.msg1283107#msg1283107

A yarn swift and/or ball winder - I have loads of hanks of yarn, and only 2 arms, which makes winding them up a wee bit challenging!

i love this jeans/tie skirt - PM me for sizing?
http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=20346.msg164979#msg164979

i love this felted bag - but i've never tried the double knitting
http://www.talklikeapirate.com/knitlikeapirate.html

someone made me this bag - and it unfortunately met with a disaster... so i'd love a new one?
http://www.ecoist.com/pc/viewPrd.asp?idcategory=11&idproduct=451

the felted monster slippers in the SNB book?

this isn't made - it's purchased.  but i've looked EVERYWHERE, and can't find one.
http://www.baronbob.com/gumballmachinewallhanging.htm

i love the idea of this comic book clutch... anyone want to give it a try?
http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=83488.50

Noro Kureyon yarn - any leftovers - parts of a ball, a full ball - there's a blanket on knitty.com I'd love to make, and it uses a lot of this - so if you have any leftovers, I'd love to be able to turn them into a blanket!

thick athletic socks with slouchy cuffs - on my wist, there's a pair for the style I like

squares to make a quilt - 6" x 6", please.  I'll piece everything together (and post the results).

(long shot) - a corset top - the kind with the mini-hooks up the front?  I have one, and i love it, would love another one!

handspun yarn - any color, any weight, as long as it's enough to make something out of it << got some fabulous yarn from other swaps!  must have more!!

Stitch dictionary/library - I have 1 or 2 of them, am looking for ones that have lots of cable designs/patterns in them (all those tube tops, don'tcha know!  please pm me to see which ones I have), or lots of afghan squares in different sizes and patterns.

Knitting book - Not Your Mama's Knit - if anyone has a spare copy, or stumbles across it in a used bookstore or rummage sale?

DIY kits:
  • needle felting
  • soap bombs
  • lip balm
  • drop spindle spinning

crafting supplies:
  • felting wool - i have a couple of projects that need felting wool, especially greens, purples, reds, both worsted weight and bulky weight - it can be undyed, and i can dye it myself
  • joann's sells rolls of fabric strips - i'd love a couple of those, have a project in mind!
  • (long shot) - wooden crochet hooks.  I used to have some, before i had kids.  now i have kids, and no wooden crochet hooks.  coincidence?   Huh -- Please PM for sizes, I actually got a couple!

anything inspired by my wist  http://www.wists.com/Dulcinea

squares to make an afghan -  6" x 6", I think.  I decided I wanted a new afghan, so if you wanted to use up stash, I'll put them all together

Anything Philadelphia eagles football for my son, who loves them

Roving for my daughter, who loves to spin it into yarn!

... right... about me.  I'm the REALLY old lady in the crowd (even older later this week), the one peering over the bifocals.  I have 2 teenagers, 1 of whom lives at home, and my day job is a computer programmer.  I have no allergies, no issues with animal products, would prefer to avoid religion/religious articles and politics at all costs.... my favorite colors are the jewel tones, think ruby, sapphire, emerald... i don't do terribly well with pastels.  We live in an apartment, where space is always at a premium... so small things that sit on tables and shelves and don't do anything except collect dust aren't a great thing here.

Thanks in advance to anyone who chooses me

I claim Dulcinea for a surprise, which means I'm digging through my 'Dulcinea Stalking Pile.'  Grin

This is my first claim and I'm in Maryland.  Or, Marlun if you're on the Eastern Shore.

The list:

- Woolen sweaters - 'dry clean only' so they full really well.  No size restrictions.  (Thanks Dulcinea for your continued contributions!)

 - An amigurumi beagle! Really, anything beagle related.  Mine is my only child, after all.

 - To jump on the bandwagon, 6"x6" quilt squares.  I'll put together some Project Linus quilts so everyone will beef up their crafting karma.

 - funky silk screened or embroidered or handpainted or whatever t-shirts or hoodies, or heck, sweatpants as long as I'm not going to sit on your efforts (ie nothing on the rear, please!)

 - something inspired by comic books - clothes, tote bag, etc.  I'm a big fan of the greats - Batman, Supes, Spidey.  Same goes for cello or classical music stuff.

 - hardcover books with colorful fronts (no jacketed ones, please).  Nancy Drews would be best, but I'll take what I get!

 - old black and white photos of people

 - posters or cards of those older European advertisements with bright colors http://www.allposters.com/-sp/Cognac-Monnet_i404819_.htm?aid=246987

 - Easy-to-crochet-with yarn.  Chunky kind is best, and nothing eyelashy or confetti please.

 - kits are good, too.  I love trying out new things! Needle felting or whatever you're into.

 - zippers, buttons, belt buckles, purse handles, ribbon, other neat sewing notions

 - paper ephemera for microscope slide pendants

- A ‘why did I get a job in construction’ kit (munchies, rubber bands to shoot at coworkers, ‘Matchbox’ bulldozers).  I've switched positions from an office with a door to a partitioned part of a double-wide, and I'm making it my own goshdarnit. (Dulcinea gave me a great one, but more munchies are always good  Grin)

 - For my man, small GI Joe, 6" superhero or similar size figures to customize.  He customized a figure to look like me! What crafty kids we would have.

- For my son, Jake T. Beagle, some stuffed animals to chew on and maybe some doggie treats (you've got your kids, I've got mine, hehe)

 - And always, the wist at the bottom.

Other things about me: I am a flitting crafter.  I try something, conquer and move on, but always love to go back! I sew, quilt and throw pottery when I can find a class.  Also have the random education of an engineering degree with a minor in classical studies, so I work in construction and play cello.  Whatever pays the bills, right? Have a boyfriend and we share a beagle who basically owns the house.  Thanks in advance for picking me!

I claim snowyangel for "Retro or modern fabric atleast 1/3 yd? Thick stripes, geometric patterns, circles, bold flowers, etc."  and a wist inspired handbag.

This is my 2nd claim, 0 in transit, 0 received.

~It's a long list, but I don't want to stall the thread  Wink~
CRAFTED ITEMS:
*My boyfriend really wants a Link (from the Zelda videogame) amigurumi. I can’t crochet for the life of me, so I would be eternally grateful to anyone who would make one. Here’s a pic: http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b385/fukcmegently/LinkZeldaGC_copiecopy.jpg
*I reeeaaaaaaaaalllly want a t-shirt that has the text “Any wish can come true in exchange for something dear to you” in pretty letters. (PM me for size)
*I have been drooling over the idea of having a tote bag/purse with this image on it: http://farm1.static.flickr.com/222/518015827_472eee5600_b.jpg
*The hair ties in this picture are so cute! I would like a pair like this:
http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1019/549918921_1b98e8dda7_o.jpg
*Tree of life necklace
*Original artwork. My apartment looks so empty. I need something to cover the walls.
*Handspun/dyed yarn
*Either all-red or all-blue quilt squares. I'm thinking 12"x12" is a good size
* Crochet or knit afghans (I’m anemic, so I get cold easily)
* A wist inspired surprise Thanks, pawnshoppromises!

SUPPLIES:
*Ribbon or Bias tape
*Fabric- I am desperate need of solids to make bottoms for my scrubs (at least 2 ½ yds)
*Glass or shell beads (or pretty much anything but pony beads)
*Pretty buttons in fun shapes, also-fabric covered button kit
*Fabric pens or fabric paint- not the puffy stuff though
*Jewelry findings- earrings, toggle clasps, headpins/eyepins…….
*Printed origami paper or even pretty scrapbook paper

 DIY KITS:
*Anything resin.
*Needle felting
*Domino pendants
*Wire wrapped jewelry
*Journal making
*Stuffed toys
*I’d like to try working with polymer clay, too!

MISC:
* Seat cushions (I got some dining room chairs off the road, but they have no seats)
*These are probably long shots, but I would really like either subscriptions to, or used back issues of: knit.1/ crochet today/ sew simple/ threads/ jewelry crafts/ craft: (BIG wish!)
*Craft books. I would especially like books for making stuffed toys or for making jewelry.

Things about me:
I’m twenty years old and a full time student studying biology. I dabble in knitting, papercrafts, beading, shrinky dinks, and embroidery, but I mostly sew. I like pretty much anything, except animal prints. I adore all things Asian-especially if it’s from Japan. I love everything kawaii, bright, colorful, funky, fresh. I like any color, especially blue and pink, but not orange and bright neon yellow. I live with two boys, so I try to have a lot of girly things around me-don’t wanna forget what it’s like to feel feminine.

THANKS IN ADVANCE TO ANYONE WHO PICKS ME!
