CROCHET HOOKS with wooden or plastic handles (I can't hold metal "sticks/hooks" for long....baaaad hands   ) Just taught myself to crochet so need bits and bobs to help and encourage me. I only have a 4mm hook so far! Some BIG hooks (speed sticks? Speed hooks??) would be awesome, our local shop goes up to 6mm at the biggest

I’m Karan, hurtling out of control towards my 40th birthday whilst still clinging onto my misspent youth! I’m married with 2 teenage sons and a pet cat.

I’m 38, I’m an art and pottery teacher, and I live in the UK with my BF, 2 cats and a german shepherd dog. I’m basically a hippy-gothy chick, my favourite colours are purple, black, turquoise and emerald green, although any strong colours are also cool especially rainbows (I don’t like pastels and I can’t wear yellows, or yellow based browns or oranges as they really don’t suit me!) I love batiks, appliqués, Indian fabrics and tie dyes. I love tactile things, and things that are practical rather than decorative. I enjoy yoga, reading and crafting, particularly new crafts!
