Okies, here's my coachella! Sorry if the pictures are too big, I'm not sure how to change the size.

Although I'm usually a medium, I went for the small size since my gauge was a little big. I think I could have gone down to the xs to be honest, as it's a little loose around the tummy.

I love the back on this, it's very flattering.

I felt a bit on show with the low neckline, so I whipped up a matching halter bikini (Queen of Hearts from S'n'B)

I used some vintage Emu Perle yarn that I found at the Salvation Army, and it turned out perfect!
I'd definately knit it again.

Thank you Smiley It's actually more purple-y in real life, with a slight sheen to it.

April_Cocaine:  It looks great on you!  Are you happy with the drape?

Cough.  On the other side of the fence:
Stuck mine on scrap yarn last night to see how many more inches I wanted to add to the length, and am kind of frustrated with the drape.  (Not a reflection of the pattern itself, which I love; I knit a size Medium, but should have gone down to Small.)  Neckline is a bit too baggy/peep-show for my taste.  Tried to solve said bagginess by rolling the neckline a bit and came out with this:

(** Note:  This is my "Hmm...Not Sure If I'm Digging It" face, executed in conjuction with "Been Knitting For Four Hours Straight" ponytail.)

Not sure if I'm pro-roll or whether I'd rather frog and try again in a smaller size.  Thoughts?

On a more positive note:  Hurrah for the back!

subliminalpolka - I'm not totally happy with the drape. When I wore it out the other night, I kept fiddling with it. But I'm sot sure if that just because I'm not used to wearing such a low cut top. In the end I was drunk, so I didn't really care!

I think the roll looks good. Will it stay in the position, or do you need to tack it down?

Here's my version. It's still too low-cut (and a bad pic to boot -- it would have been nice if my guy would've actually gotten off of the couch to take the pic, but I guess I can't fault a free photographer  Roll Eyes )

It looks a bit better in person, but I can't see wearing it too much during our Chicago summers. I might use it as a layering piece under a suit.
