I finished mine!

I took many suggestions from the great people who posted in this thread. I didn't do the short rows on the bust. I added two increases for the hips (I could have added more, I have big hips) and I finished with 2 inches of ribbing. I really like it.

Ah! I love the red Coachella! I reeeeeeally wish I skipped the short rows. Mine hangs indecently low, so until I knit a piece of lace or something I have to wear a tank underneath. *pouts*

Anyway, I finally posted pics over in the Completed forum, so go check them out!

Hey Coachella Knittters,

I am thinking of starting this tonight when I get home. Does anybody have any advice for making the part between the arm holes wider? I want it to fit over a racer back bra because I find carrying the weight of my boobies around my neck (a la halter bra) rather uncomfy.

Also, any more solutions for avoiding too much hang in the front without going down a size? I don't want it to be too fitted at the waist because I like the way it drapes over the tummy.

Thanks for all your help!

So I've been feverishly knitting away on this the last couple of days, and I thought it was coming along pretty nice... but then I tried it on.  It seems to fit perfectly in the back:

but then in the front, its way too baggy!

I did do one set of the short rows.  I think I'll be frogging and then going down one more size and omitting the short rows.  I'm worried that the back won't fit right, though.   Undecided
Thoughts??  Huh

Oh, BTW... I am using KnitPicks Shine Worsted in Watermelon... I LOVE this color!
