I don't think I've ever sewn a modern garment. When I was taking sewing classes, I started off with a civil war dress pattern!

I can't find the pattern online to give you the number, and I'm too lazy to go down two flights of stairs to get it. sorry. Simplicity.

My dog, Cheyenne, insisting that my hem isn't even and hiding the fact. Very kind of her  Cheesy

Stripey flowers!

Another view.

I don't know how to hide zippers ;_;. Civil war dresses don't have these evil things. Should've gone with a black one...

I love it! It looks just like McCall's pattern 4868 which a couple people have made!

I bought it even though it's out of print cuz I HAVE to have one too. Let me know what simplicity pattern it is if you get a chance, it would be fun to compare the patterens.

...i finished off the rest of the ice cream so i expect to be having another butt in the morning!!

That's the pattern, thank you MyDestny! View C. It was pretty easy to follow -- I left out the bust lining and the pockets. The only difficult spot is the meeting point in the center bust where everything comes together.... and lining up my stripes XD If I had really been paying attention it wouldn't have been so difficult.
