Ahh! I *so* need to make one of these! I'm always losing my glasses because I keep knocking them off my nightstand.

I'm not sure if I'm going to end up making a cartoon character, or just some random cute creation..we'll see!

For those who don't wear glasses, I see this as a pincushion, needle/hook holder, toupee protector  ,better substitute for "Wilson" the volleyball on a deserted island.... endless possibilities!

i love this project!  i have never crocheted before but this will be the project that makes me learn!  i have a question though, is this crocheted flat and then sewn together at the end?  or is it crocheted in the round?

The head itself is crocheted in the round as one piece, then the other parts are crocheted and sewn on seperately.

I've started mine, My 4yr has requested a Dora head.
So far I'm at rnd 13 hoping to get most of the head done before bed.
will post a picture when I get done, most likely after the 4th

I have two done, one is a blue head with black hair and the other is a creme head with rainbow hair. I'll post pictures when I manage to locate my camera. Which appears to have gone missing under my yarn. Darn.
