ok guys! i really need help! i have no idea on how to make a neck,, on a.... felt purple and green creature (i don't know how to describe it) should it be part of the body or head?     help!!!

The very few dolls I've made have the neck as part of the body pattern, then the head is sewn on to the top front of the neck. Does that make sense? I can draw a diagram maybe.

Sorry for the double post, but I sketched this up. I really hope it makes some kind of sense!



That's from the back, with the body in black and head in green. So the body shape has the neck (a good long neck to give you room to attach the head). The head shape is stitched on (blue) to the top front of the neck, which means the head sits a little forward and the chin is clear.

I really don't know if I'm helping! I hope so though.
