i love your project...thanks sooo much for sharing the website/directions. i love scrabble (i have travel scrabble and it comes on every single trip we take!)  and can't wait to do one of these when i have collected supplies and a scrabble board. thanks for the creative inspiration!!

I just saw this thread and want to add that it's fab! I can't wait to try it. I have my family's original board from the late 50s, but I think it's too special to sacrifice. On to EBAY!

Awesome idea!

When I was cleaning out my grandmothers old house, I found a ton of old pictures of her parents.  I should do that for her.  She was so excited when I found those albums!

I've been eyeing this thread for a while, and I finally went to the SA today and bought and OLD scrabble board.  I plan on making this for my momma's birthday this weekend.  She's a Scrabble freak, and I think she will love it.  Smiley If my camera is feeling better, I will get a picture to post when I'm done!
