Your diaper cake is so darling!! I think these are the best shower gifts ever since they look awesome to give, but are completely functional!  (Unless you are like my friend who refuses to dis-assemble hers)

Thankyou. Cheesy
I'm not sure if my friend will actually use them, or if she'll just hang them up.

The diaper cake is the cutest idea. & you did such a good job embellishing it. You are so creative. Did it take very long to put all of those goodies together?

That's what she said

thanks  Cheesy
yes it did take a while, i waited until the last night (the night before the baby shower) to do most of it. Shocked
though the umbrella took a few days to let the paint dry, because i used 2 diff. paints.

Ok, call me ignorant but what is the significance of the umbrella?  Is it just to protect the baby?  I'm assuming not as it's all McFancied up and wrapped up in tulle while "inflated"?  It all looks beautiful.  Some diaper cakes look sad, but yours is fantastic.

I'm not certain, but I would assume she used the umbrella because it is a baby "shower."  The mom gets showered with baby gifts the way we get showered by rain.
