This is the first piece of lace that I have knit. I found the lace pattern at http://www.knitting-and.com/knitting/index.html It was just a test but when my friend's birthday rolled around I decided to whip it up into a pillow. The fabric are some kimono scraps that I picked up at the local craft store.

Thanks for looking!

I LOVE it! I've seen the skull pattern before, and I've had it printed up for ages but I haven't figured out what to make out of it.  thank you for the idea Smiley

What kind of yarn did you use?

Cool! I really like the stripy fabric you used to back it.

i've got a question..did you find any errors in the pattern?

i've been working on this thing ALL DAY. i've come into quite a few errors, and i even undid those rows and started over, often correcting what i messed up on, but some of those rows just didn't end up right. i'm going to give the pattern writer the benefit of the doubt, but we all make mistakes.

i'm hitting the "this rocks" button, because you must totally rock if you have the patience for this thing.

I don't remember how long the pattern took because  I did it during lunch breaks and stuff. Yeah there were several errors in the pattern. I wasn't sure if it was a mistake or it was me but since you are having the same problems...

If there are errors in the typed out version of the pattern please let me know and I'll fix them. I know the chart is right because I knit the swatches from that.

No matter how many times I check between the charts and text there will always be an error or two that gets through the first time round :-)
