i'm getting ready to move out. and i finally get my own bathroom. i want to make it rubber ducky themed. but i can't paint or do anything permenent to the room. so far, i've decopaged little duckies to a wastebasket. i have a clear vinyl shower curtain that i want to paint, but what kind of paint isn't washable? and i just want you crafty divas to post me your ideas. i'm not so crafty, unless i'm told exactly what to do. so your advice, please?
thanks,
jenn

they had an episode of "house invaders" on bbc that did a bathroom with that theme.  If you go to the bbc website, it might have a search where you could look up what she did. Hope that helps you! you could also find a wallpaper border and cut out the rubber duckies and stick them up randomly.

the border idea would be cool, i could probably just use sticky tack or masking tape.

The toy store down the block from me sells those removable non-slip bathtub foam shapes (they're like decals) -- including rubber duckies!  They also sell actual rubber duckies, and ducky washcloths, nail brushes, etc.

Here they are the decals, but you'll probably be able to find them in stores around you, too: https://www.inventiveparent.com/tubandtilestickiesets.htm.  Use them on the tub, or as a border, or just on random tiles.

Okay, I just googled "rubber ducky theme bathroom", and found this! http://www.christmasespast.com/jusducbydep5.html  You could make most of these things yourself.  Like, decoupage or paint a rubber duck on a clear glass tumbler, or on a plain ceramic toothbrush holder and soap holder.  If you can find ducky patches, you can sew them onto plain handtowels, etc.

And look -- rubber ducky hampers!  http://www.affordableauctions.net/9330/104775010.php

My husband is obsessed with rubber duckies and he used to have a rubber duckie themed bathroom, my two favorite things he did was

1 He had a huge framed photo of a pile of rubber duckies hanging in the bathroom
2 he screwed a couple into the wall to use as bathrobe hangers

here are some of my ideas...... you could make a rubber duckie mobile with actual rubber duckies, you could make a rasterbator "mural" using a picture of a rubber duckie (check out the crafster blog for more info on rasterbator murals, no paint is involved just paper) you could glue a rubber duckie to a tiolet seat cover. and don't forget the yellow towels  Cheesy

i'm going to do a rubber duckie theme for my bathroom, and being that newbie I am, I was wondering whether Mod Podge can be used on plastic, and is there something else i need to coat over it so it does peel? ( I want to decopauge my wastebasket)

From the book Godless:

Just Al: I know that God is real. I feel his presence in my heart
Me: What does it feel like?
Just Al: It's hard to describe Jason. It feels good.
Me: Oh. I thought maybe it was like heartburn or something.

Now, of course not all duckies are good.  Therefore, I must introduce you to... DEVIL DUCKIES! (http://www.mcphee.com/bigindex/current/11114.html)

Also, not all duckies are currently living, so here is the DEAD DUCKIE! (http://www.mcphee.com/bigindex/current/10994.html)

I love those little guys!   Not sure what you can do with them tho...maybe place them around the sink, on the back of the toilet, or on a windowsill...
