Of the handful of lelah's I have seen, I must say this is my favorite.

I took some inspiration from yours, and made a few mods on my Lelah.  I didn't want to put elastic at the top, so I did a couple of sharp decrease rows, then bound off rather tightly.  I blocked the hell out of it in hopes it won't stretch out too much on the top.  I also made mine a bit more pear-shape friendly too by decreasing out the two lace panels on the sides.
