My dream: make a plushie of my gerbil, skit (the cute adorable creature under my name)

My problem: the only plushie I've ever made was a Haan craft turtle.

My question: Has anybody seen a pattern for a stuffed gerbil (or mouse or rat that I could modify)? Or does anybody have any suggestions to make him? I'm hoping to make him 3D, so that he can stand up on my bed.

I have that pencil case - I always thought it was a rat ^.^" Could probably pick him apart and photograph the pieces to help you make up a pattern?

Ah! Thanks so much! I'm gonna try it out now, see how it works. I'm no good at making my own patterns. I always look at them...wrong somehow.
