I got mine from Maltiriel. I LOVE them! I adore bright colors and she delivered!

I adore the ridged one. So cool! I wish I knew how to do that! The pinwheel has made it's way into my oldest daughters safe keeping. She doesn't even wash dishes but she loved it lol

Beautiful dishcloths!!  Are they both knit or is one crochet?

Hey! I got my package this week. It contained two lovely dishcloths (one knit, one crocheted) and a special surprise: some beautiful hand-made stitch markers! I was very happy to receive them, as I've just learned how to knit and only every used the crappy plastic variety.
Here's a pic:

Thanks so much, uknowuluvit!

glad you like it all vitaminpink! I am also in the stitch marker swap so I decided to practice and give you some too! I've only ever had the plastic ones too, so of course I made some for myself!

I received these awesome cloths from BhamBaby last week, and I'm finally getting around to posting pictures.  Sorry about that BhamBaby!  I swear I loved the cloths, I just forgot about the pics!

First up is this cool green cloth done in tunisian crochet:

The back is actually a different texture/pattern than the front (though you may need to look at the large size on Flickr to see the detail), so here's the other side:

Next is this INCREDIBLY soft purple cloth, done in double half front post crochet stitch.  Try saying that three times fast. Wink

This cloth will probably end up as a washcloth, since it's so soft it seems a waste to use it on dishes.

Both cloths are more square than this, they were just smooshed from being in the package and I was too impatient to take pictures to get them smoothed out. Wink  The colors are also a bit washed out due to my camera's insanely bright flash.  They're the most beautiful deep purple and green in person.  I love dark colors like that, so I can't stop admiring them.  Every time I walk past them I stop and look at them and pet them a little.  Grin

I mentioned in my profile that I wanted to learn crochet, so BhamBaby explained all about the stitches and methods she used to make them.  I've been wondering about tunisian crochet, so it was really great seeing an example of that.  Thanks so much for the cloths and the crochet info, BhamBaby!  I love them, and I can't wait to try those stitches.

Since people have asked, both the cloths I sent were knit.  I only started crocheting a couple weeks ago, so my crochet skills aren't quite up to swap level yet. Wink  I got both my patterns here, and I was particularly excited to find the pinwheel one, because it's my grandma's favorite pattern for dishcloths.  She passed away last year before I got into knitting, so I was really happy to find the pattern she used.  The other pattern is the Three and One Checked Cloth.

I'm so pleased you liked them. Thank you once again for waiting a couple of days for me.

The mission falls cotton is so yummy to work with too. That purple is called phlox btw. They also make a Aran weight Merino Superwash that I can't wait to get my hands on. Hope you find it locally.

Both of my partners have received so I thought I would show off the other cloths I made

the star is the same as the baby blanket on in the CAL except I did it in hdc instead of dc so it would be a little more dense. And the butterfly is from a book I have. The scrubbie is just doing fpdc to give it a ridge, it's kind of hard to see in the pic
