I think this is my first ever project post...Wahoo!!

So, anyway, I've been keeping a journal/ diary/ prayer notebook/ sketchbook/ collagebook ..basically, a "book of everything" for about 7 years. I adore keeping a journal, and reading over old ones is so much fun. So I ran out of pages on Monday night, and couldn't be bothered to get into town and buy a new one.

A few internet searches and some cutting and pasting later, I have a beautiful, rainbow, summery journal, handmade by me, and best of all FREE!!!

Onto the pics...

I used this tut, it's actually for replacing the paper in a moleskine, but it was the best instructions I found for the binding/stitching parts. http://www.trumpetvine.com/sketchblog/moleskine-reloaded/

The tut uses moleskine covers, but since I didn't have any of them handy, I used cereal box card wrapped in scrapbooking paper, then stuck on the yellow ribbon.
I just glued the first and last pages of the bookblock to the cover.
