i'm relatively new to this site, and i keep seeing swap posts that sound like so much fun!  i would love to take part in one, but i have no idea what to do here.  how do you go about making a swap?  who can swap?  where do i sign up?  are there restrictions or things you would recommend a swapper not do?  what does ATC mean?  so many questions, so little time...

(sorry if this is the wrong place to post this.  like i said, i have no idea what to do!)

Here are the swap guidelines explaining who can participate and how. basically, just leave a message on one of the swap idea threads on this board or the general swap idea board. as for don'ts, just don't flake out on your swap commitments without telling anyone.

ATC stands for artist trading card, like baseball cards but for art-- small and tradable.
