Bottle Caps / Snapple Caps / Etc.

I work in a pub, and i kept stealing them.. i have HUNDREDS !! I made a few pendants, gluing 3 or 4 together and embellishing with beads, they were cute, but im going down a more green earthy vibe atm so i dont know what to do with mine, either !!
I was going to hammer them all down flat and glue them together to make book covers ect!
Oh and the prettier ones make awesome buttons !!!

I have a whole overflowing shoebox of snapple caps and I just don't know what to do with them. Does anyone have any ideas?

I know there have already been so many ideas. I didn't go through them all cause I'm at work...sorry if something similar has already been stated but here goes.
I was at a ladies house who had lots and lots of doilies and similar lacework around her house, but her most intresting thing was a wall hanging that was made out of bottlecaps that were covered with crocheted embriodery floss and bunched together like grapes, they had little crocheted leaves on top too.
It was pretty cute and I haven't seen anything like it anywhere else.

I love all the ideas on here for use of beer caps. If you have an overabundance like I did and a lot of time to amuse your friends, you could make something like this with caps and a glue gun:

I made 3 pair so experiment which was the best way. Gave one to my neighbor, wore another pair to the doctor and got a ton of compliments!

We helped a friend re-do his bar-top with bottle caps. He covered the entire bar and then poured resin over it... it would take a lot of caps, but looks great!

If anyone wants beer bottle caps, I'd be happy to send a bunch like I made the earring with - hubby works for a distributor and brings home a case a week - it's only $5 a case!!! Needless to say, I don't drink much of anything else!
