I just finished a memory quiltfor my little sister's graduation gift.  Being the procrastinator that I am, I only had 2 days to make it so it's a little sloppy, as I didn't measure or trace anything.  Anyway, it was fun & easy to make, plus it used up a ton of my scrap fabric that's been laying around forever.  Here it is:

Is she able to wash the quilt with the photos? What kind of material did you print the photos on? Huh

Yep, it is machine washable.  I always use the colorfast sew-in inkjet fabric sheets for my photo quilts.  You can get this at any craft store (or even Wal-Mart) & it comes in a pack of 7 sheets for about $11.  I think the brand is June Tailor & the packaging is hot pink.  Anyway, it's super easy to work with, you just load it into your printer & print off your pictures (two 4x6 pics per sheet) & then peel off the backing, rinse them in cold water to prevent bleeding, and sew 'em right onto your project.  I have used these for pillows, quilts, wall hangings, etc. & they always work out great!
