I really like that idea!

you could check with local charities to see if they have fundraiser events and see if they want to use them for a ducky game- an easy one for kids, take a couple ducks and paint a smiley face or whatever on the bottom, float them all in a kiddie pool, the kids pay to pick a duck out if it has the symbol they win a little prize.

I don't know what you could do with them--although I like the painting idea.  But am exceptionally concerned that they would just toss them out like that especially if this an annual event.  We have a similar annual thing here (only send them down the river), but I'm pretty sure they reuse them each year and only replace the ones that go AWOL.

Paint them, and then string them with fishing line, then hang on a wall, or in a doorway...like a ducky beaded cutain!

You could make a giant rubber ducky mobile / sculpture thing that hangs of the roof. That would look fantastic if you used nice shiny silver wire for the bars.

Maybe you could give it to the charity who runs they race and they could hang it in their building or some thing.

I would love to have a hundred little duckies!!

Other than what was already mentioned, they would make for an awesome photo opportunity or something awesome like an independent short. Then afterwards alter them like others have mentioned, give them away etc...

It would be so much fun to have those duckies!!
