I have another art journal to do.. for.. art, obviously.
This time I have to have my journal over one topic.
I'm going for "Books".
I'm going to put quotes from books, and things.. If it turns out unembarassingly okay, I'll put it on here.

But.. I need some quotes from books. Or poems from books. Or quotes from writers.

So if you have some good ones, please share.. and tell me what it's from, if you could.

I'm pretty sure this is just a random quote, but I love it!
Fashion is a form of ugliness so intolerable that we have to alter it every three months - Oscar Wilde

Ars longa, vita brevis - Art is long, life is short.
We who are about to die, salute you! - Gladiators before they fought

And a qoute from a fanfic I'm reading:
"I like this." They poked at the beaded ring on Dib's belly button. "What's it do? Or is it doing it already? It should tell the time. Oh- or maybe some kind of dooms day laser that you fire forth when you're cheesed." They blinked and soon a sly lazy look crossed their face. "I want to lick it." they commented idly.

"I am lopsided, and so are you.
Nothing worth loving isn't askew."

Lemon Demon (Neil Cicierega) from the song, Nothing worth loving isn't askew.

"I like rice. Rice is great when you're hungry and you want 2,000 of something."

Mitch Hedberg

"Build a man a fire, he will be warm for a day. Set a man on fire, he will be warm for the rest of his life."

Terry Pratchett

"I like a man who grins when he fights."

Winston Churchill

"You can design and create, and build the most wonderful place in the world. But it takes people to make the dream a reality."

Walt Disney

"If good things lasted forever, would we ever appreciate how precious they are?"

Hobbes, Calvin & Hobbes

"Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia."

Charles Schultz

And finally:

"A witty saying proves nothing." Voltaire

Good luck with your project!
