Hey, I used this site when teaching (or attempting to teach) middle school students about the evils of advertising.  It's got lots and lots of ads from every industry from the 1910- on.

http://scriptorium.lib.duke.edu/adaccess

You can search by "Beauty" and they break it down even further, for example "Deodorant 1925-1952" and my personal favorites for laughs, "Feminie Hygiene"seperated into decades 20, 30, 40, 50

i did a cache search on google of tack o rama and it saddened me horribly. This is what i got and it makes me mad at the other myspace users...

"Tack-O-Rama has been forced to close due to excessive bandwidth theft by MySpace users.

If you are a customer who has purchased the Tack-O-Rama Clipart CD on the understanding that you will receive a free copy of the new CD, this offer will still be honored, and production of the new CD is continuing.

All being well with with the design of new security measures, Tack-O-Rama should return by September 20, 2005 with new fonts, new media items, and a sneak preview of the new CD.

The current CD can still be purchased here."

thats where you can buy the CD and it's good stuff too.

If anyone is still looking

http://www.plan59.com/ and http://www.travelbrochuregraphics.com/

Plan 59 has retro classic car art as well as ads for bathrooms, products, etc.  Travel Brochure art has stuff from the 20s and 30s
