This box is all polymer clay.  Kato bronze and black clay was used.

WOW! I love this little box! I keep scrolling back to look at it. I love the bronze sparkly clay and the funky design of the box overall. The impressions of the swirls is a fantastic touch (for some reason, I am very partial to swirly designs like the one you used), and the twisted rope of black sets everything off nicely.

Very, very, very nice!

Yes you are correct, I changed a few things here and there, but the making of the form is the same.  Carol Duvall taught me everything I know when it comes to polymer clay  Wink

Are the sides of the box a mica shift? (I know how much you like that)  Cheesy  Did you bake the sides before assembly?

I love the color combo you chose and the swirly pattern updates the look.  Smiley

Yes they are mica shift teapotdnky!  I made cardboard form first like in here: http://www.hgtv.com/hgtv/cr_clay_other/article/0,1789,HGTV_3239_3992320,00.html
There is another one similar to that one, but at moment I cannot find it.
I baked black layer around form.  I mica shifted (lol) some bronze and cut into triangles and put on top of baked black (with liquid sculpey)  Put the twisted ropes between the triangles to cover the seams.  That swirly/dizzy texture sheet is my fav, you can probably see I use it alot lol. Grin  That texture sheet describes my daily life with Multiple Sclerosis!   Wink

Thank you so much teapot and DianeB!!!   Grin

Thank you M-alina!!  I used future floor polish on it, the Mica shift can be seen better when futured.  I did not future the black twists.  I think that adds to the contrast.   Smiley
