thanks!  it took me 2 nights (one per night) but i did them really late and while chatting online and such.  you could easily make then in one evening!

i only cast on 14 stitches since i used a considerably bulkier yarn and bigger needles.  and i didn't crochet the strap, i cast on 10 then bound off.  i think the rest was pretty close to the pattern.
