Just a thought:
I reckon the butterfly necklaces would look even more like butterflies if you used a smaller ID ring for the two on the outside - the ones the beads attatch to. If you wouldn't mind me borrowing your idea, I'd like to give it a try Smiley

I'd like to do it myself, but I don't have the room, ventilation, or equipment to anodize my own aluminum. I hear it's not really that bad to do though.

I buy my anodized rings premade from The Ring Lord. That way they're anodized on the cut ends, so they don't flake easily. I know a lot of people like enameled copper, also, but I haven't gotten around to trying it yet.
