Alright, so it's been a few years since art classes but here is my final drawing for the drawing course I took.  It is one of the staircases in the admissions building on campus...

The shading looks a bit off because of the flash but I just loved the details of the railing.  My favorite part of working on this was the comments and questions from the groups of people leaving for campus tours who would walk by me, sitting in the corner of a landing on the floor!

This one is my first oil on canvas I've done in a really long time (I think my last one was like 8 years ago) so I didn't make it too complicated - it took me long enough to get up the gumption to start a simple landscape!

Any comments/suggestions are appreciated!  Again, I haven't done much art in awhile so I know my work isn't great but I'm trying to work on it a bit more.  I've been devoting a lot of my time to selling my clothing instead.

That is one gorgeous staircase drawing. It has so much structure and detail, but still looks pretty dreamy to me. Lovely!

Those are fantastic. At first I thought the staircase was a photo, and I was wondering, "why did someone take a pic of a staircase?" lol. One little thing, after closer inspection, it seems some of your angles on the stairs might be a little bit off (i have the same problem. Never could manage that perspective stuff...) But otherwise, excellent work. Oh, and you have far greater patience than I. all those details must have taken FOREVER! Color me impressed! Grin
