I painted a mug and plate set at work to honor my favorite band!! The whole set took maybe 2 months or so to finish, but probably between 40 and 50 hours total. The plate is about 6" x 9" and the mug is maybe 4.5" or 5" high.

MFZB- They were painted at a standard contemporary ceramic studio aka a paint your own pottery place. If you find one close to you, I'm sure they'd be happy to show you how everything works. Its just Mayco glaze paints on top of cone 04 fired bisque and fired again at cone 06. I've worked at my local pottery place for the past year and a half or so, so I've gotten lots of practice. This was certainly my most ambitious project! But right now I am working on a Alphonse Mucha tray and that is proving to be even more challenging!
