Oh, this is sooo lovely. I would love for my daughters to use my wedding dress in some way. This looks like a designer dress. And congrats!

Wow!

To wear your mother's wedding dress, that's such a beautiful sentiment.

You guys have done some major work to it, it's gorgeous. So is your mom! Smiley That picture of her on her wedding day, it's very classy.  Grin

Good luck with the rest of the dress and congrats on getting married.

wow that dress turned out so great - of course you had a very beautiful classic to start with  Wink
if only my mom's wedding dress was that nice, my parents were married in the late 70's so it's got the whole poofy sleeves stuff  Tongue

Yes, what is a dress patch?

You are very lucky to have your mothers dress to work with. My mothers dress was UGLY. We ALL think it's ugly. My mother even thought it was ugly on her wedding day. But my parents are still married (so I guess it's not the dress that makes a lasting marriage) Smiley

What a beautiful job!

My mom borrowed her older sister's dress. Mom was horrified to learn that my aunt had sold it in a yard sale!!

I think I would faint! It was nice of her to lend her dress to your mom, though.
