Don't get me wrong I think it's pretty cute, but I guess I'm not a headband person. I was restless and wanted to get rid of some leftover sock yarn. The yarn is Knitpicks Dancing and I used size 1 needles plus this super easy lace pattern:

RS and WS Rows: k1, *YO, p2tog* repeat to last st, k1

That's it!

More pics and details on the blog. Thanks for looking.  Cheesy

I think it looks great on you and love it with your hair.  The colors are superb.

it's too bad you don't consider yourself a headband person, that's really pretty! is there something else you could use it as? if it's not too long, maybe a wide bracelet? who knows.

I think it looks good!  What about using it as a choker/necklace instead?

Thanks so much, everyone!

I think it looks good!  What about using it as a choker/necklace instead?

That's an idea, I'll have to fiddle around with it.

I wear headbands all the time and also consider them an essential beauty tool:  knitted headbands are great for holding your hair back when you wash your face; or to sleep in if you aren't planning to wash your hair the next day because the headband keeps your hair from sticking up and getting greasy.

Though, it would be a shame not to wear your band in public because it really is lovely!!

That's a beautiful headband. You should consider wearing it, because it looks great with your hair.
