made out of a really, really comfortable olive jersey material
this is actaully the quickest dress i've ever made - took about 30 minutes!
it's kind of an adjustable length....you can pull it all the way down to just above the knee, or let it wrinkle up a bit so its about fingertip length

front (excuse my rediculously messy room Shocked )

side-ish? (i stepped on my camera and the screen broke...so i'm havingn trouble taking pictures haha)

full length, sort of blurry sorryyy

(put on the heels cause they actually match PERFECTLY!  Grin )

whaddya think?  Smiley

ooook, i've decided to make a text tutorial on this cause its really THAT easy hahah
i took no measurements while making this, which is another reason why im just doin a text tut.

first, you'll want to use stretchy jersey like fabric - this way you can achieve the 'drapiness' of the top

now, cut 2 rectangles - these are for the main part of the dress, which covers from the bottom of your bust to wherever you want the length to be

sew these up the sides, and voila, you have the bottom part of your dress.

now, cut 2 rectangles for the top (*for me, all 4 rectangles were the same size)

turn these 2 rectangles so they are the "hotdog" way (horizontally)

cut and sew the top left and top right corners.
sew these. (youre not sewing right-to-left corners together, you're sewing left-to-left and right-to-right)

at the bottom of these, sew about 4 inches in on each side

you should have FOUR holes all around this rectangle: a large hole on the top, 2 arm holes on the left and right side, and a large hole on the bottom.

youre going to take the hole on the bottom and attach it to the top of the tube you sewed before (as the bottom of the dress)

sew it together, turn it right side out, and voila - the dress

it really is that simple. if i wasnt clear enough on any of this tut, feel free to ask questions!

i didnt hem the bottom or sides because the jersey material made it so i could just cut it off and it looked neat (which is also why it only took about 30 minutes to make, haha)

Sometimes people are beautiful.
Not in looks. Not in what they say.
Just in what they are.
