I kept looking and looking and got some good suggestions for a tote bag but I couldn't find any I really liked, so I gave up and tried to make one myself. After a good bit of trial and error I made a very simple tote, without a pattern (go me!). Here she is, carrying my new baby. Cheesy

So much better then this..

I will probably keep using this in a sad attempt to keep some cat hair and dust out of my machine, when we're at home.

I never thought of that as I only sew in my house. Maybe I need one tote bag to carry my baby (my sewing machine). Wink I don't really travel but who knows I might want to bring my baby along. I bet the material for the tote bag must be thick & strong enuff to carry the machine.

It's just quilting cotton, but I did put interfacing on the fabric for my strength. I only travel back and forth to the flea market on weekends (I run a booth down there) so it doesn't go through every day toting.

Why didn't I think of that? Wink It'd be bulky to carry a sewing mch with its case.

Great idea never thought of that. I have a sewing machine I keep in the truck for those days when I am traveling plus I teach some girls at this local school one a week and I think it would look better if I make a sewing back instead of carring that big sewing container. Great work love it. Smiley
