Thanks for posting, bigblank.  Sorry I've been so slow about it, I've had some uploading problems.  You got a better shot of the moon rock than I did, but here's a pic of the interior, which is painted to look like space:

And a closeup on the inside goodies:

I really adore this tin.  This is the third round that I've had pulp sci-fi on my list and I'm so happy you picked it!  I love old sci-fi.  I think it's the fact that they just got so much wrong.  Thanks so much, bigblank!

That moon rock is pretty awesome. Did you use styrofoam?

It looks like it's a sponge that's been painted.  Nice and squishy.

the rock is foam rubber i had left over from a cushion i made.  it cuts up real nice with scissors.

The sci-fi theme was so much fun.  So many collectors out there all over the world with really cool old stuff.  I've got pics all over my hard drive now, this was so much fun to research.

I would love to be one of those collectors, but there's the whole $$ thing.

I finally recovered my camera so here is my wonderful tin from Gwydion.  She did quotes, cats, books, and altered art.  The tin looks like a book, kinda reminds me of the little Bibles you used to  get at Bible School

A close up of the cat reading a book. It's very detailed and very sweet

She made me some really good bookmarks, way better than the junk mail I am currently using Wink  Sorry for the bad pic.  Scrabble letter initials, cute mouse and cat buttons and a green ribbon.

I love the little book of cat quotes.  This one is my favorite.

I also recieved bookplates!   They look just like my own kitties.  They came in a neat little crocheted bag.  I love the fiber she used.

Gwydion sent me EARRINGS!!!  I honest to goodness can NOT remember the last time I bought myself earrings.  She used my favorite color, green.  I had to wear my hair up to make sure everyone noticed them Cheesy

and the inside of my tin

Gwydion did such a good job on everything, and  made my first swap a great swap.  Thank you Gwydion Grin

the cat on the cover of the tin is really cute Smiley and I think, that earrings are very  nice gifts... even though, I personally don`t wear them, but love to look at them on other people Wink   ( they can be really interesting and original)

I got my second tin yesterday from trinnie_doo!  She chose my Invader Zim theme for the tin itself and owls for the inside goodies.

Here's a picture of the tin itself:

It has quotes around the edges:

"Awww...I wanted to explode!"
"CHICKEN! I'm going to eat you!"
"Shut your noise tube, Taco Human!" and
"My head's not big!  Why does everyone say that?"

I've always felt a little big-headed kinship with Dib Smiley

You can see more characters inside, along with a mirror and some cheerful plastic confetti:

Now the goodies!  This wasn't actually inside the tin, as it was far too big (cheaterpants Wink ).  I'm not sure exactly what to call it, as I've never seen them before, but there were two little owls printed on foamcore along with little pieces of pipe cleaner and a special tool you use to bend the pipe cleaners and stamp them into the foam.  You can see here that I've just about got his forehead done:

There were also some cute little owl gift tags, a shrinky-dink owl fob, and a great little beaded bracelet in my current color crush, orange and brown.

Thanks so much, trinnie_doo!  I love everything!  I really need to go watch some Invader Zim now.  I have the whole set on DVD along with the case shaped like Zim's house (the top opens up to house a little plastic Gir).
