Had never seen the photo, did not know the story, so very glad you shared it.  Though even without the story - the sheer joy, a great wonderousness comes through in the card.

We're on craftster because we love to create. Why should we settle for what we currently are?

Great card!  The attitude came through loud and clear even before I read the explanation, though that added to it.

I know I already commented but I have to comment again....
The more I look the more I love this card.
That picture is right up there with the sailor kissing the nurse as one of the coolest end of war pictures and I love it!
And where did you get those neat butterflies? I noticed you used them on your royal card also.

The butterflies are little stickers. They were cheap ones from a $2 shop. I've had them for a long time, I used to wear them next to my eyes when I was in my teens, it was my little fashion statement when I was really dressed up, I used to wear a lot of glitter eye make-up too. I recently rediscovered them along with my far to large collection of body glitter and shimmery eyeshadows and have started including them on my ATC's, I guess they make things alittle more persnal for me when I use them and they also have all the lovely fun connotations attatched to butterflies.

I think that that's wonderful to use media that is personal to you in your art. And it might make them smell good, too Wink Wink Wink
