Here is my mermaid!  I really like how she turned out, but there's some debate as to whether or not she needs arms.  I say no 'cause she's a fish, but my bf's mom says yes 'cause she's a mermaid.  What do you guys think?

Mermaids normally have arms, but she's looking very good without them. The mixture of simplicity & detail works really well on her.

she is adorable. i think she should deffinatly have arms though! lol when i first saw the picture without reading the title or anything i thought it was a crochet....umm...we ll....male genetal organ (if you get my drift) in awesome colours. i mean that in itself would be pretty awesome but since it's supposed to be a mermaid i think arms might stop certain people from seeing the wrong thing Tongue i love it though! really well done!

I have to agree 100%. And mermaids do have arms, so it makes sense this way,too...

i love her beaded bra top! this is really cute, but i agree that arms might be a good idea. ariel had arms! and arms would be really useful for distinguishing your mermaid from.... genitalia....  Wink

OK, I fixed it so my mermaid doesn't look like a wang for those of you that saw it that way.  I added arms and a necklace.

Actually, I think the arms came out really cute.  I was worried it would ruin it, but I'm happy with how it turned out.

Cute!  You should definitely edit your first post and include the photo there as well.  I definitely like her more with arms. Smiley
