I believe this board is in need of a theater swap. craft-a-long. We could make costumes from favorite productions, ATC's involving shows/characters, show inspired toys, altered books, anything Theater related. It could even be general theater instead of just a show. Any ideas on how to work it? I'd say a different show each month but it'd be hard to find a show we'd all seen. Which is why we could maybe just have a set time limit for the craft of our choosing for the show of our choice. What do you think guys?

Being a huge theatre geek (along with being my minor), I love this!!!!

Maybe instead of specific shows, you could do genres? Some suggestions:

Family Classics
Musicals
Shakespeare
Tech Theatre

etc...

You could go more specific like certain playwrights, or composers or the like, but the idea being we can narrow it down while making it general enough so that everyone will be able to pick a show or element they are familiar with...

Wooo! I'm excited now!!

I'm also a theater major, albeit in Germany Wink I'm more from the tech department, though; I don't much like to watch shows where I haven't tinkered with the set or the props beforehand - makes me itchy   Grin

Tech stuff is awesome too *was prop master for her schools production of Into the Woods* We could even do replica prop type things. We just need a few more people, so we can have a group of say, 5? then decide on rules.
