Do you think Cotton Fleece would work for this?  I believe its a light worsted or dk weight. I just bought some wisteria and soft gold from sheep shed studio

Well, the recommended yarn normally knits on 5mm needles, but for the design, Bernard used 4.5mm and 4mm (for the rib) to make the top a little snug and firm for the negative ease she was going for. Cotton fleece is basically a finer yarn (4mm needles, right?) so the sort of squishy feel that the pattern has with the yarn (tis really a tad heavier than aran weight), you might not necessarily get that with the cotton fleece.

However, it is a basic top down raglan, you can literally, wing it on your needles. Just follow the basic shaping and herringbone stitch pattern.

HTH!
