I made these for a personal swap and swore I wouldn't post/send pictures until my partner received...but I can't take it anymore.  I'm a proud momma, LOL.  So here it is, the Jack Skellington scarf and hat!!

The scarf and hat together:

Just the hat:

***Due to a flatteringly popular demand, I have created a tutorial for the eyes.  You'll have to excuse the poor photo quality...all I have is a cell phone. Sad

First, you make a loop:

Then, pull a chain through.  This is what's called a "magic loop."
http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i155/tsunadesamaaa/Pic015.jpg

Next, 10 sc in that loop:
http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i155/tsunadesamaaa/Pic014.jpg

Then pull the string/tail to tighten the center:

From there, WITHOUT JOINING, do 2 sc in each sc.  Should total to 20 sc.
http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i155/tsunadesamaaa/Pic012.jpg

Next you do *1 sc, 2 sc* in each stitch throughout...much like the hat pattern...you'll have 30 sc. You can add more or less rows, but this was a good size for the hat I made. Then you do 3 slip stitches and finish off. Leave a long tail to sew:

The sewing is pretty basic. I just go in and out of the little "v" of the single crochet:

And I go around the dc posts:

All finished from the backside (and it's smart to weave in ends):

OK, I know this is extremely vague, but I hope it gives you at least an idea on how to go about making the eyes.  Thanks for your interest in my pattern!

I LOVE IT! What an awesome swap gift, your partner will be so impressed! The stitching for his mouth is just perfect. That movie is one of my favorites- you know it is going to be re-released in 3D this fall!

That is very cool. Are the eyes crocheted also? It's hard to see the black.
