Ok, so you know how sometimes you doubt your work? Everything i make, i give to my family and friends first to see if they like it.  They always say they do, but I don't think they'd tell me if they didnt like my stuff.  So, I am asking you craftster gods/goddess' for your opinions.  Do you like/ would you wear earrings like these? I'm planning on making them for Christmas gifts, and I just want some honest opinions on them.  I really like them, so I know I'd wear them, but what do you think?   Just to preface...I use all sterling silver findings & chain, and either glass beads or gemstones.  Ok...here they are....

these are freshwater pearls..

thank you for looking...sorry so many pics....positive/negative feedback appreciated!!!

I think they are all nice.  Smiley I'd wear all of them, except for maybe the third ones down. Only because they have an orange bead, though, and I don't care for orange.

i love the last four, but some of them look a little too dangly for me, i'd be afraid they'd catch or a kid would yank them out of my ears.

I like the longest ones.  They seem to be the most stylish.

Wow, those are great.  I love them all!  You're very good at this.  I've been meaning to make some earrings like that.  Would you suggest buying one of those starter kits?  There are so many things to choose from...

Thank you!!Honestly, i think the starter kits that they sell are a little overpriced.  I buy all my stuff at either Michaels or AC Moore, which is a little cheaper.  All i use to make these is the sterling silver chain, ear hooks, head pins, maybe jump rings and random beads.  The only hardware I use are needlenose pliers and wire cutters.  I actually stole those from my dad (lol), but you can either buy them at the hardware store (which is usually cheaper...I'm thrifty, can you tell?lol), or a craft store.  Seriously, they take me like 5 minutes to make.  I love the way they look, and they probably only cost like $1 to make a pair.  You can try a starter kit, but I'd just buy stuff seperately.  If you do decide to make something like this, please post!!

hmm... would it defeat the purpose if your post if I told you I loved your earrings? I just bought a pair of clearance dice earrings for a dollar at Hot Topic and revamped them. They kinda look like the ones you made now. I told Wes that I wished I had a digital camera while I was doing them so I could post a before and after on Craftster. Have I mentioned that you rock?

I'm looking for love. Real love. Ridiculous, inconvenient, consuming, can't-live-without-each-other love.
