I was looking for a cool bag to make for my friend this Christmas and came across this pattern. I have to say, this was my first real sewing project, other than sewing a few straight lines on various things. This was amazingly easy to make and fairly quick too. Since I can't post images yet, here is a picture of it:

My friend is a Packers fan and her highschool colors were green and gold, so I figured this color scheme worked. Oh, and the inside is a soft yellow plaid and I made a pocket out of the green.

Hi all! I've been getting a lot of messages lately about getting the pictures back up so I'll just answer here:

I don't have the pictures any more as my computer hates me and I have pretty much zero time to go through and re-photograph everything so I can't get them back up at all. But all the directions are still up here and hopefully you can figure it out.

Sad so sorry

Would you mind if someone else re-did them? This is close to the top of my list of bags to make. I could take pics as I go.

Hey girls, I have it as a word document with pictures and all. I already send the link where you can download the file, but here we go again: http://costureiradearaque.googlegroups.com/web/receita-pleatness%20bag.doc?gda=lkyuKk0AAABcOxqRkVcZhg6i8W7xVk9FVbXLfYlPTDQinJEk5J9e1XfXEWK7JtVAuPlEWug3YhZPzJHEhOqSBtCXYhiKyQ5IBU9_aXxaCIGnii7K-WAskA

If it doesnt work you can go to: http://groups.google.com.br/group/costureiradearaque/files
Its the last file, called receita-pleatness bag.doc

applesaregreen - if you want you can add the link at the first page or get the pictures from there.

Here's one I concocted (sorry for the messy desk  Smiley):

I couldn't figure out how to sew the ends of the zippers though, so I tucked it between the layers at the ends and hand-sewed it:

applesaregreen, can you explain the zipper finishing a little more? I do tend to be very literal and at times oblivious to the obvious. Thanks!
