those look great! i like to use lots of ruching and pleats in my designs, too, but i've always shied away from doing that with patterns out of fear that it will make the pattern appear too 'busy'. I definitely have nothing to worry about; the pleating doesn't distract from the pattern at all. fantastic job!  Smiley

Wow, instant response. Thanks so much for all of the great replies. Now to answer some of your questions, yes, it is my own design, patterned and everything by me. I got the idea from a purse I had seen at some store in chinatown, but it was minus the pleatness and way too small. So I came up with this one. It's pretty medium sized measuring 14"l x 7"h x 4"w, so not a huge duffel bag, just the right amount of space I think. I pretty much carry everything in mine, including my huge wallet, camera, and a whole bunch of other stuff, I don't even know what is in there right now. lol. If you have any other questions, just ask or PM me. I should be making more very soon and I will be sure to post them when I am done, so I will be back. Thanks again for all of the great comments!

My oh my I'd love one of these.  You say it's a complex pattern... any chance of a tute? *puppy dog eyes*

Alternatively, you could make a mighty pretty bundle off selling these I think.  You have a very good eye for colour and contrast.

Plus, the design works for funkiness, prettiness and all other 'nesses in between.

Thumbs up!

Such awesome bags!  Very unique pleating in the design and the eye-popping fabrics are fantastic!  Great job on all! Cheesy
